Paris Saint-Germain's French international defender Mamadou Sakho has extended his contact until 2014, the French Ligue 1 club said today.
The 21-year-old's current deal was due to expire in 2012. "I feel great pride and satisfaction that we've reached agreement," said Sakho.
"I've been here since I was 13 so I really wanted to extend my adventure with PSG. We're high up in the table and we have to keep the momentum going."
PSG are fifth in the league, five points behind leaders Lille. The PSG vice-captain has played 24 league games this season and scored three goals, achieving his first call up for the national side against England on 17 November.
