Liverpool sign teenage Brazilian

Liverpool have signed teenage Brazilian forward Vitor Flora on a free transfer.

The 18-year-old impressed Reds manager Rafa Benitez during his spell with Brazilian club Botafogo last season, and joins compatriots Diego Cavalieri Lucas and Fabio Aurelio at Anfield.

"Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Brazilian youngster Vitor Flora on a free transfer," a statement on the club's official website read.

Flora holds an Italian passport and could feature in a reserve fixture against Middlesbrough on Tuesday if international clearance is received in time.
