Southampton captain Adam Lallana on Thursday signed a new five-year deal which will keep him at the Premier League outfit until 2018.
The midfielder has been at the club since he was 12, helping them rise to the top flight from third-tier League One. "I'm absolutely delighted. To commit my future to the Club for the next five years is something I'm really happy about," Lallana told the club's official website. "I can't wait to work with the new management team and the lads to continue our progress in the Premier League. It was an easy decision for me with the direction the Club is going in."
