Dinamo Zagreb retain Croatian title

Dinamo Zagreb secured their ninth consecutive Croatian league title with a 5-0 win against bottom club Hrvatski Dragovoljac at the Maksimir Stadium.

Domagoj Pavicic scored the only goal in the first half, but the holders opened the floodgates in the second half. Duje Cop scored five minutes after the break followed by goals from Hilal Soudani El Arabi, Alen Halilovic, and Said Husejinovic

With four matches of the season still to play, the capital club have an unassailable 14-point lead over second-placed Rijeka and have now won the title a total of 16 times since the Croatian league began in 1992.
