Beijing Guoan lie four points behind Chinese Super League leaders Guangzhou Evergrande after being held to a 2-2 draw at Changchun Yatai. The hosts surged ahead through Eninho's penalty and a Walter Iglesias strike, and though Xizhe Zhang and Xiaobin Zhang both struck in first-half stoppage time, parity was the best Beijing could muster.
Third-placed Guangzhou R&F were beaten 3-2 at home by Tianjin Taida. It was 3-0 at half-time thanks to goals from Haibin Zhou, Andrezinho and Rentian Hu, and Abderrazak Hamdallah's double - the first a penalty - was not enough for the hosts. Shanghai Shenhua beat city rivals Shanghai Shenxin 2-0, South Americans Paulo Henrique and Giovanni Moreno with the goals.
Saturday's other two games both finished 1-1. Zhu Xiaogang earned Dalian Aerbin a point after Wei Wu's opener for Hangzhou Greentown while Roda Antar's strike for Jiangsu Shuntian was cancelled out by a penalty from Guizhou Renhe's Zvjezdan Misimovic.
