Internacional made it five wins in a row to move to the top of the Brazilian Serie A as they beat Goias 1-0.

A Pereira Pedrao own-goal with 13 minutes remaining was enough to hand Internacional the points and move them one point above Cruzeiro in the table.

In the day's other game, third-placed Corinthians lost ground on the leaders as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Bahia.

Kieza opened the scoring for Bahia nine minutes before the break but Carlos Gilberto Gil restored parity just seven minutes later.
