Corinthians join quartet at top

Paolo Guerrero's 77th minute goal sent Corinthians back to the top of the early Campeonato standings as they won 1-0 away to Chapecoense.

Corinthians overhauled Cruzeiro with both teams on seven points after three games.

Also on seven points after Internacional and Goias after victories on Sunday.

First-half goals from Andres D'Alessandro and Charles Aranguiz put Internacional in control of their match against Sport Recife, which eventually finished 2-1 after Lalau Patric pulled a goal back in the 78th minute.

Franca David's 69th minute goal gave Goias a 1-0 win away to Atletico Mineiro.

Flamengo enjoyed a 4-2 win over Palmeiras, but twice had to come from behind to do it.

Beltrame Wesley put the visitors ahead after 11 minutes, and although Paulinho levelled almost immediately, they led again thanks to Henrique's 31st minute strike.

This time, Marcio Araujo levelled with a goal five minutes into the second half, and then a brace from Barbosa Alecsandro won it for Flamengo.

Maxi Biancucchi's 59th minute goal gave Bahia a 1-0 win over Botafogo, while Silvinho's 14th minute strike saw Criciuma beat Figueirense 1-0.
