Brazil's Ronaldo, who returned to competition with Corinthians earlier this month after a year's absence, said he wants to score 30 goals this season. The 1994 and 2002 FIFA World Cup™ winner, and two-time European footballer of the year, tore his left knee tendon while playing for AC Milan in February last year.
"I would like to play a match a week, or about 30 matches, and scoring about 30 goals would be good. It's a figure I like. It's a good aim, and includes the two goals I have already scored," Ronaldo said.
Ronaldo started his spell at Corinthians on 4 March after coming on midway through the second half of a 2-0 Brazilian Cup victory over Itumbiara.
