Arsenal Sarandi and Velez Sarsfield got their Torneo Apertura campaigns off to a winning start on Monday night.
Arsenal came back from 1-0 down against Estudiantes to win 2-1, with Emilio Zelaya cancelling out Guido Carrillo's earlier effort before substitute Ramiro Carrera won the game in the closing stages at the Estadio Julio Humberto Grondona.
The hosts, who slumped to 17th in last season's Torneo Clausura, will hope the win signifies a return to form.
Velez Sarsfield also left it late to seal a 1-0 win at Tigre. Substitute Milton Caraglio scored the only goal in the 88th minute, despite spending most of the second half down to 10 men after Leandro Desabato was sent off shortly after the interval.
