Grimi winner lifts Godoy fifth

Leandro Grimi's 78th-minute strike helped Godoy Cruz move up to fifth in the Clausura following a 2-1 win at Belgrano Cordoba on Thursday.

Facundo Castillon opened the scoring for the visitors in the ninth minute but Jorge Velazquez levelled matters just after the half hour mark.

It remained that way until Grimi scored the winner with just 12 minutes remaining, which moved Godoy Cruz three points behind league leaders Estudiantes.

Leonel Di Placido rescued a 1-1 draw for struggling All Boys against rock bottom Arsenal Sarandi.

Visiting Sarandi took the lead just after the hour through Mariano Echeverria, but Di Placido ensured the spoils would be shared six minutes from time.

Finally, Boca Juniors were held to a goalless draw by San Lorenzo, who earned a point despite finishing with nine men following the second half dismissals of Leandro Romagnoli and Nestor Ortigoza.

Elsewhere, Alvaro Fernandez's 67th-minute goal was enough for Gimnasia La Plata to earn a 1-0 win at second bottom Racing Club.
