Between 6 June and 5 July 2015, Canada will host the FIFA Women’s World Cup, a competition that offers the best in soccer from around the globe.

Providing a world-class stage for the largest women’s sporting event in the world requires the support of Canadians from coast to coast.  We are looking for hundreds of volunteers to come together and help deliver the most successful FIFA Women’s World Cup ever.

Canada is a proven hosting nation for major international sporting events, having hosted the successful FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship in 2002 and the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2007.  With your help, we believe we will prove it once again.

This once-in-a-lifetime event gives us a unique opportunity to demonstrate Canadian hospitality, infused with the character of our multicultural society, as we host matches across five time zones in six venues, from Vancouver near the Pacific Ocean to Moncton near the Atlantic Ocean.  Official host cities for 2015 include Vancouver, British Columbia; Edmonton, Alberta; Winnipeg, Manitoba; Ottawa, Ontario; Montreal, Quebec; and Moncton, New Brunswick.

As part of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 team, you will play an important role in establishing a meaningful legacy for sport and women’s soccer in Canada while building memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

It would be impossible to stage this event without the effort and passion of those committed to volunteering. Your helpfulness, friendliness and willingness to become involved will be decisive factors in delivering the best FIFA Women’s World Cup in history.

We look forward to welcoming you to the team for the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015!

Sincerely,

Peter Montopoli
