I. The tickets are sold on behalf and for account of the German Football Association (Deutscher Fußball-Bund e.V or DFB); the latter is therefore the responsible office for ticket sales-related data processing according to § 3 of the (German) Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz or BDSG). The DFB (FIFA Women's World Cup 2011 Organising Committee Germany; referred to below as ‘OK') processes the applicant's personal data in compliance with the data protection regulations applicable to this contract. The DFB (OK) has concluded  agreements with selected service providers (currently ticket-, printing- and shipping  providers) in relation to it´s FIFA Women's World Cup 2011 ticketing arrangements. To the extent  that any  processing of personal customer data is necessary, the observance of the applicable data protection regulations is also contractually ensured in accordance with § 11 paragraph 2 of the BDSG.

II. The data provided by the applicant  will be registered, processed and used by the DFB (OK) in automated procedures to the extent that is necessary for establishing, forming or changing the contractual relationship. In this context, they are also used to guarantee security and to prevent ticket sales on the black market.  

The following data, in particular, is collected:

  • Surname, first name
  • Address
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone number
  • Date of birth

The following data is collected depending on the payment type chosen by the applicant:

  • Bank details
  • Credit card information

III. The application/order form must be completed in full (unless provision of the requested data is optional), in order that the application/order may be processed.

IV. The DFB (OK) shall have the right  to transmit this data to security authorities, in accordance with any applicable laws or  regulations.

V. To verify admission authorisation, electronically controlled turnstile barriers with reader units for identifying barcode* tickets will be used for all matches at the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011. The aim is to prevent multiple entrance  with the same ticket (anti-pass back). The barcode is also used for service purposes should tickets be lost or misused.

VI. The personal data will not be used for commercial purposes, i.e. it will not be transmitted to sponsors for promotion purposes.
