Hyundai Motor Company, the official automotive partner of the FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey 2013 has supplied 112 vehicles to the Local Organising Committee to be distributed between the seven host cities. The vehicles will provide transportation for FIFA and Local Organising Committee officials, refereeing teams and tournament officials in the international tournament which takes place between 21 June - 13 July.

The vehicle handover ceremony took place in the Ali Sami Yen Arena which will host the Turkey 2013 games played in Istanbul. The event was attended by Local Organising Committee (LOC) President Servet Yardimci, Kibar Holding Chairman Ali Kibar, Hyundai Assan Turkey Managing Director Umit Karaarslan along with other Turkish Football Federation and Hyundai Assan representatives.

Speaking at the ceremony, Yardimci said, "Hyundai is one of FIFA's leading sponsors. We are very happy to be working alongside one of the most prestigious brands in South Korea and the world. I would like to thank Hyundai and their management team on behalf of LOC and FIFA for sponsoring Turkey 2013. I would like to wish the South Korea U-20 football team, who play their games at the Kayseri Kadir Has Stadium, the best of luck.”

Karaarslan also spoke at the ceremony and said, "We’re proud to be sponsoring an organisation which brings people together from every corner of the world. Hyundai will also host Turkey 2013 events at the 71 authorized dealerships and 80 authorized service stations throughout the host nation.

Hyundai has sponsored every international FIFA event since 1999 and will also sponsor the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 and 2014 FIFA World Cup™, both of which will be held in Brazil, as well as the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
