Ravshan Khaydarov, Uzbekistan coach
This was not a good first result for us. Our team lost concentration and there were a lot of mistakes in the first half by our goalkeeper and defenders. We have a lot to work on. The first game is always hard and difficult but, for us, this first match was even more important than the others. That said, we still believe that we have a good chance to qualify with two more games to go in the first round.

Jorge Jimenez, Honduras coach
We are really happy with the result and pleased with the whole team performance. We have a strong team and were very clinical in front of goal. But Honduras still have a lot to give to this tournament. After defeating New Zealand 2-1 in the warm-up matches, we knew we were ready to go. We missed out on the previous two editions of the U-20 World Cup and have never made it past the first round, so we want to make history for our country.
