Sergio Almaguer, Mexico coach
It was a very dramatic end to the game. We found it tough out there and so did Uruguay. We tried to score in the first half; we had a couple of chances in the first 45 minutes, but unfortunately the ball wouldn't go in. My players' second-half performance was really good, really smart. I'm happy with the result - now we have to look ahead.

Fabian Coito, Uruguay coach
It's a negative result because we had a point in the bag with a draw and we lost it out of the blue at the end. But that's football and we have to regroup quickly. We knew beforehand that we had a tough group, so now all we can do is prepare for our next match against Mali.
