Ravshan Khaydarov, Uzbekistan coach
We didn't want to lose of course. This game was very difficult and very intense for both teams and both of us had many chances to score, but we made one mistake and we conceded from it. It's not a good feeling. Before we conceded my players were playing well, but after we had to change our tactics, we had to react. It's been a great tournament for us and being one of the best eight at the World Cup is ultimately a great result.

Joseph Koto, Senegal coach
We have prayed a lot since the beginning of the competition and particularly in the last few days. Most importantly I want to congratulate my players because they truly played a heroic match today. It was a very tough match as I was expecting, they fought really well and we're all very happy. I can tell you one thing, Dakar isn't sleeping right now. At first everyone expected us to get smashed, 5-0, 6-0, 7-0 at every match we played but the team actually progressed through the rounds and now everyone watches the matches.
