Around 1,000 volunteers will assist the Organising Committee in running the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup 2010.

Volunteers are not only responsible for the smooth-running organisation of matchday activities, they also generate a warm and friendly atmosphere in and around the stadium. Their dedication, helpfulness and friendliness help to create the positive lasting impression taken home by visitors from near and far.

Areas of responsibility
Volunteers will support the Organising Committee in 12 different areas of responsibility. You'll find more details about the assignments under "Areas of responsibility".

Requirements
You need to fulfil the following requirements in order to be Volunteer for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup 2010:

- 18 years of age on 1 June 2010
- Good command of German
- Basic knowledge of English
- Valid passport or national identity card
- Availability (matchdays at your location (host city) at a minimum)
- Passion and commitment

Selection process
Our Volunteer Management team will check and process every application. Suitable candidates will be invited to personal interviews. The aim of the interviews is for us to get to know the candidate and his/her reasons for applying, and to explore possible assignments and areas of responsibility.
