Ticket sales kick-off on 23 June

The ticket sales for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Japan 2012 will kick off on 23 June.

The sixth edition of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, scheduled to be played from 19 August to 8 September, will take place in the Japanese cities of Miyagi, Saitama, Kobe, Hiroshima and Tokyo. Ticketing price varies in categories and matches, and a special ticketing price is being offered for fans below the age of 20 - the same age limit for the participating players - in the Cat 3 area.

The competition will feature 16 winners of the preliminary qualifiers from six confederations, including Korea DPR, China PR, Korea Republic from the AFC; Ghana and Nigeria from the CAF; Canada, Mexico and USA from CONCACAF; Argentina and Brazil from CONMEBOL; New Zealand from the OFC; Germany, Italy, Norway and Switzerland from UEFA; and finally Japan representing the host nation.
