After three weeks and more than 27 000 votes, the Pingüino Rojo
has claimed victory and its creator - José Carmona, from Santiago - wins the grand prize; a trip to Disney World in Florida (USA).

It was a closely fought and much publicised race, but in the end the people of Chile and the world have chosen the drawing that will provide the inspiration for the Official Mascot of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Chile 2008.

We thank the 4,500 participants who submitted a drawing at McDonald's for the first stage and everyone who took the time to vote afterwards at FIFA.com. We also congratulate the four runners-up for their extraordinary effort; they will receive special prizes from Sony and Adidas, and tickets for the tournament at the venue of their choice.

Stay tuned for the first sight of our Official Mascot at the Draw on Saturday 13 September.
