Canada is ready to go green for the 100-day countdown to the opening match of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Canada 2014. As part of a day-long celebration, select buildings in Edmonton, Toronto, Montréal and Moncton - the four Official Host Cities for Canada 2014 - will feature a green projection in the evening of Sunday 27 April.

The celebration will start in the morning, in fact kicking off in the early hours via FIFA's social media properties on Facebook and Twitter (@fifawwc). Activities will continue throughout the day, notably with fans in Toronto given the opportunity to get their photo taken with the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Winner's Trophy.

Each city will feature a unique celebration, with Toronto hosting the trophy as well as freestyle demonstrations in the downtown core. In Edmonton, the local Canada 2014 team will be set up at West Edmonton Mall while near Moncton, there will be activities in nearby Rothsay and Dieppe.

In the evening, the buildings that will be lit green are City Hall and Muttart Conservatory in Edmonton, City Hall in Toronto, Stade Olympique in Montréal, and City Hall in Moncton.

On Monday 28 April, celebrations will continue with activities at Moncton City Hall and a mini 3v3 soccer match in Montréal. The celebrations coincide with the Visa pre-sale ticketing launch that same day via FIFA.com/Canada2014.

The FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Canada 2014 runs from 5-24 August in Edmonton,‎ Toronto, Montréal, and Moncton.
