AFC

Iran, Iraq, Japan and Uzbekistan became the first teams to qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013 by reaching the semi-finals of the 2012 AFC U-16 Championship which was played between 22 September and 6 October in Iran.

CAF

The African U-17 Championship is taking place in Morocco from 13-27 April 2013. The first two teams to qualify for the semi-finals, and therefore for the FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013, were Morocco and Tunisia. A few days later, Côte d'Ivoire and Nigeria earned the final two spots in the semi-finals and as a result, they booked their tickets to UAE too.

UEFA

Italy, Russia, Slovakia and Sweden became the first four European teams to secure places at UAE 2013 from the elite qualifying round in Slovakia in May 2013. Austria and Croatia became the final two teams to book passage to UAE 2013 after finishing third in Group A and Group B, respectively.

CONCACAF

The CONCACAF U-17 Championship was held in Panama from 6-19 April 2013. Hosts Panama reached the semi-finals along with Canada, Mexico and Honduras to book their place at the FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013.

OFC

The OFC U-17 Championship was played from 17 to 25 April in Santo, Vanuatu, with six teams - Fiji, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and Cook Islands – competing in a round-robin group. New Zealand won the comptition to qualify for FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013.

CONMEBOL

Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela and Uruguay are the teams who qualified from the South American U-17 Football Championship in April 2013. They were the top four sides who will take their place at the FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013.
