Iran, Iraq, Japan and Uzbekistan became the first teams to qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013 by reaching the semi-finals of the 2012 AFC U-16 Championship which was played between 22 September and 6 October in Iran.

CAF

The African U17 Championship will take place in Morocco from April 13-27. The four semi-finalist teams will be qualified for the FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013.

      UEFA

      28 teams are currently participating in the qualifying round.
      The elite round of eight teams will take place in Slovakia from May 5 – 17 2013.

          CONCACAF

          The CONCACAF U-17 Championship will take place in Panama from April 6-19 2013. Twelve teams will compete in a group round (Group A: Panama, Barbados, Jamaica; Group B: Canada, Costa Rica, Trinidad and Tobago; Group C: USA, Guatemala, Haití; Group D: México, Honduras, Cuba) The top two teams in each group will qualify for the quarter-finals, and the winners of these matches will qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013.

              OFC

              The OFC U-17 Championship will be played from 17 to 25 April in Santo, Vanuatu, with six teams - Fiji, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and Cook Islands – competing in a round-robin group. The winner will qualify directly for FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013.

                  CONMEBOL

                  The South American U-17 Football Championship will be played from 2-26 April in San Luis and Mendoza in Argentina. The top four teams will qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013.

                      The host country qualifies automatically.
