Uruguay or hosts Mexico? That is the question. The two sides will meet on Sunday 10 July at one of the true cathedrals of world football, Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca in the final of the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The hosts arrive at the ultimate match with a 100 per cent record, having dispatched mighty Germany in a dramatic and classic semi-final in Torreon. Uruguay, for their part, stumbled through their Group C in Pachuca before finding their legs and picking up steam in the knockout rounds, eventually getting the better of regional rivals and heavy favourites Brazil in their last-four contest in Guadalajara.
