Nigeria finished first place in Group B of the CAF U-17 Championships and will face Tunisia in the semi-finals as the Golden Eaglets comfortably defeated a nine-man Congo side 7-0.

Already up 2-0, Nigeria gained a numerical advantage in the 32nd minute when Ngampio Imouele was judged to have used his hands to block Benard Bulbwa's shot on goal. Congo quickly went from ten men to nine men seven minutes later when Sakou Yobi was dismissed for a reckless challenge.

Employing their two man advantage, Nigeria would go on to score five more times, with Kelechi Iheanacho notching a hat trick on the day.

Côte d'Ivoire will meet Morocco in the other semi-final after securing second place in Group B with a 0-0 draw against Ghana. All four semi-finalists have earned a berth in this summer's FIFA U-17 World Cup in UAE.
