FIFA.com wraps up the FIFA U-17 World Cup Mexico 2011, which was won in stylish fashion by the hosts, and featured impressive performances by Uruguay, Germany, Brazil and Uzbekistan.
As around 100,000 fans celebrated Mexico’s world title at the Estadio Azteca, captain Antonio Briseno told FIFA.com: “It was an incredible experience”.

Mexican players scooped the three top-player awards at the FIFA U-17 finals, with Julio Gomez, Jorge Espericueta and Carlos Fierro grabbing the adidas Golden, Silver and Bronze Balls respectively.
Samed Yesil, Ademilson, Adryan and Yassine Benzia were all among the goals at Mexico 2011, but none could come close to Ivorian Souleymane Coulibaly’s record-equaling tally of nine.
