Jamaica coach Wendell Dowswell
"We have to stay positive for our next game because it is crucial that we come away with a win to keep our chances alive. Tonight we weren’t able to take advantage of our chances and this really hurt us, it might have been a different story if we could have scored a few goals. The goal that Barnes scored is a dream come true for him and mathematically we are still alive and we will fight to the end."
Argentina coach Oscar Garre
"We were under pressure for a lot of the game and I think we played well considering. The players came out to the field with a big desire to do well in the game, but we fell off the pace a little bit in the second half. What is important is that we took the three points that we needed against a good team like Jamaica. We suffered today and we hope that we can improve again in our next match against Japan, who is a very good team that plays with a lot of confidence. That game will be like a final for us."
