Around 1,000 volunteers will assist the Local Organising Committee in running the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Azerbaijan 2012.

Volunteers are not only responsible for helping matchdays to run smoothly, but are also a part of creating a warm and friendly atmosphere in and around the stadium. Their dedication, helpfulness and friendliness all leave a positive lasting impression on visitors from all over the world.

Applications
In order to apply for becoming a volunteer for FIFA U-17 Women`s World Cup Azerbaijan 2012 you can download an application form and send it to volunteers2012@affa.az. The deadline for the registration phase is 12th May 2012.

Areas of responsibility
Volunteers will support the Local Organising Committee in 13 different areas of responsibility. You'll find more details about the assignments in the page entitled "Areas of responsibility".

Requirements
You need to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Azerbaijan 2012 volunteer programme:

- 18 years of age on 1 September 2011
- Good command of Azerbaijani
- Basic knowledge of English
- Valid passport or national identity card
- Availability (matchdays at your location (host city) at a minimum)
- Passion and commitment

Selection process
Our Volunteer Management Team will check and process every application. Suitable candidates will be invited to personal interviews. The aim of the interviews will be for us to get to know the candidate and their reasons for applying, and to explore possible assignments and areas of responsibility.
