Due to a number of unforeseen circumstances leading to a heavy delay in stadium constructions the Costa Rica Football Federation decided to withdraw from hosting the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in 2014.
Chaired by FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter, the FIFA Executive Committee today completed a two-day meeting at the Home of FIFA in Zurich, where it called for the solidarity of the football community to help eradicate match-fixing from the game.
