Team Services
A crucial part of the Local Organising Committee’s work is assisting the players, as that shapes their perceived image of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016. The quality of the players’ training and leisure and, subsequently, their performance depends on the volunteers working directly with the teams. Volunteers will assist by preparing the dressing rooms, setting up equipment at the stadia and training sites, helping with the players’ hotel accommodation, and handling any issues that may arise.

Competition
Volunteers play a vital role during the tournament’s matches, most notably by assisting venue and training teams resolve incidents, providing important information, coordinating venue operations, monitoring schedules, as well as maintaining communication channels with the management of the Local Organising Committee and FIFA.

Medical Services
In order to assist the medical services team, medical volunteers will help medical staff communicate with foreign patients, as well as support the Venue Medical Officer with organisational and administrative matters.

Doping Control
In order to assist the Doping Control team, volunteers will be responsible for notifying and escorting the selected players to the doping control station.

Referee Services
Assisting the referees is a crucial part of the Local Organising Committee’s work, as it shapes participants’ perceived image of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016. The quality of the referees’ support and leisure and, subsequently, their performance depends on the volunteers who are working directly with them. Volunteers will assist by preparing the dressing rooms, setting up equipment at the stadia and training sites, helping with the referees’ hotel accommodation, and handling any issues that may arise.

TV Broadcast
Volunteers will serve as a supportive point of contact for broadcasters at all stadia, providing them with the necessary support and information as needed.

Ticketing
Volunteers will direct spectators entering the stadia and support ticket holders as required.

Marketing
Volunteers who are allocated to the Marketing Operations team will be given a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to the below:

• Supporting the activities of FIFA’s management and the Local Organising Committee’s marketing departments
• Supporting FIFA’s and the Local Organising Committee’s marketing teams with the implementation of various marketing activities at the stadium
• Control value in kind (VIK) stock-levels and ordering requirements
• Assisting in the storage of marketing equipment
• Monitoring the condition of stadium signage, and food and beverage equipment

Media
The media operations volunteers will help journalists and photographers at the media centres in the stadia, media tribunes, photo-shoots, press conferences, and in mixed zones. They will also welcome media personnel and provide them with the necessary operational information.

Youth Chaperon
The Youth Chaperon will support the implementation of the FIFA Youth Program, supervise all training and rehearsal sessions at the stadia, as well as meet the youth’s needs during matches.

Parking Management
Volunteers will assist at the arrivals’ and departures’ areas of the parking facilities, making sure that all spectators and staff are receiving the easiest access.

Transportation
High-quality transportation service is one of the main priorities of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016. Volunteers will assist the Local Organising Committee’s staff in the management of transportation, as well as with arrivals and departures. In addition, they will help keep track of vehicles’ availability.

Protocol
Due to the VIP status of guests attending the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016, it is mandatory to provide a first-class service. Volunteers may be assigned to help with arrangements at the VIP areas and boxes at the stadia, in addition to guest flow and access control management.

Information Technology
Volunteers will provide continuous technical support to all divisions and venue personnel.

Spectator Services
One of the foremost tasks of the volunteers of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016 is to warmly welcome guests and showcase Jordan’s renowned hospitality and traditions. All fans should be able to enjoy the matches in a safe and comfortable environment. Volunteers chosen to work with the spectators are to provide guests with the information they request, in addition to directing them to their seats at the stadium, managing visitor flows and assisting them with any other issues if necessary.
