"We gave it everything we had. We showed all kinds of footballing ability and even managed to equalise in injury time [to make it 4-4]. However, we were lacking a little bit of luck and failed to take some chances. We see the final result as a draw, as penalty shoot-outs are just a lottery. I’m so proud of my team as they went about this campaign in the best possible way, while I’d also like to thank all the fans who supported us. Venezuela should be proud of what we’ve achieved today," Kenneth Zseremeta, Venezuela coach.
