I was in an end zone surrounded by Germans. Many of them spoke and understood English, but had no idea what the cheer was that they kept hearing from the Aussie fan section. Of course all they could hear was the oi part. I told them about the Aussie part. Then someone wondered what it meant. I did the best I could. Your fans here are having a VERY good time. See you in Augsburg next week (you WILL defeat Norway).

Lucky win girls & Tommy - maybe a bit too much ''she'll be right'' & not enuf professionalism from a few of the players. Memories a bit of how Arny let the guys take it too easy in the second last Asian Cup played in Thailand v Nipon when the lads had been out socialising a bit too much BEFORE the job was done. So now go out and ice the Norwegians. No more being slack! Toughen up for the following hard run girls. AFTER THAT the fun stuff can happen.

"We played some excellent football at times and created great chances and at other times we made some very poor mistakes which could take five years off my life expectancy," Tom Sermanni, Australia coach.
