Vive Francais! They have the talent to win in the upcoming game against favored Germany...and I hope they do! :)

Canadian women (and men) play too much like Ice Hockey with a "dump and chase" mentality. That is how the game is taught at the beginner level, but a football pitch is much larger than an ice rink. Skill and finesse are sorely lacking in the Canadian game. Marks to Morace for trying to teach the short-pass, possession game but too many of the team reverted to their old ways under the slightest pressure. Aside from Sinclair (who succeeds in spite of her team), no one on the side displays any confidence with the ball. A few sprinters would help.

The canadian team, made too many mistakes in the back. They took too long to clear the ball. You canot take too long, thinking what to do with the ball on the 18 yds line. The French were smart, they just played on the slow minded Canadian defends. Sice Canada is out, I think the coach should start their last game with the young players, so as to give them the experience and also building a stronger future team.

!I said after the first match that we had three points and nobody can take them away from us, well now we have six points and nobody can take those away from us either," Bruno Bini, France coach.
