USA striker Abby Wambach's dramatic late header in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011 quarter-finals against Brazil has been voted Goal of the Tournament by FIFA.com users. Aside from being a fine finish, the goal also levelled the scores at 2-2 in extra time, forcing the tie into a penalty shoot-out, in which the Stars and Stripes eventually triumphed. It was also the latest goal ever scored in the history of the tournament.

In second place was Nahomi Kawasumi's breathtaking 35 metre lob for eventual champions Japan in their 3-1 semi-final victory against Sweden. Third was Sweden's own Marie Hammarstrom, who showed marvellous technique before powering home a spectacular winner eight minutes from the end in her side's 2-1 quarter-final success against France.

FIFA.com would like to thank all those who took part in the vote. Each of the ten goals which made the short-list are available to view below.
