A hat-trick from reigning CAF Women's Footballer of the Year Perpetua Nkwocha against Cameroon laid the foundation for another fine display from the seemingly invincible Super Falcons of Nigeria in an explosive 5-0 win.
Cynthia Uwak and Effiomwan Ekpo were also on target as the Indomitable Lionesses failed miserably to stop their opponents.
"We still have a lot of work to do before the World Cup, the final on Saturday is a big challenge for us," said Nigeria coach Effiom Ntiero.
Nigeria, who have won every African Championship since 1998, will now play Ghana in the final. The West Africans struggled to edge out South Africa in their semi-final, but did so thanks to a last-minute penalty from Florence Okoe after Anita Amankwa was brought down in the area.
The final should be a tough test for the fancied Nigerians as Ghana are the only team to have beaten them in an African Women's championship match, back in 2002.
