Both teams in Saturday's Final of the FIFA World Youth Championship for the Coca-Cola Cup will be at full strength, with no players suspended on either side.
The Uruguayan captain, Christian Callejas, was given a caution (equivalent to a yellow card) by the FIFA disciplinary authorities on Thursday, and the Uruguayan Football Association was fined 1,000 Swiss Francs (approx. USD.600) for his behaviour on the substitutes’ bench during Wednesday’s semi-final against Ghana. But this will not prevent Callejas from playing in the Final.
Ireland's Neale Fenn and Ghana's Odartey Lawson will miss the third place match after having collected their second yellow card of the second round in their semi-final matches.
The total number of yellow cards in this year’s Championship reached 182 after the semi-finals, with the total number of red cards at eleven (including only three direct red cards).
Argentina lead the FIFA Fair Play standings before the Final, and another display of good sportsmanship from the current Cup-holders could secure them the trophy.
