Four players will miss Wednesday's semi-finals after having received a yellow card in their second round match and another in the quarter-final.

These players are :

• Richard Ackon (Ghana)
• Inti Podesta (Uruguay)
• Leonardo Cufre (Argentina)
• Walter Samuel (Argentina)

The red card shown to France's William Gallas in the quarter-final against Uruguay has taken the total number of red cards in the FIFA World Youth Championship for the Coca-Cola Cup to eleven.

The number of yellow cards has risen to 177.
