Rogerio Lourenco, Brazil coach
I think it was a good game for everyone to watch. Both teams played strongly but in the end the quality of our team prevailed and the game was ours. In any competition, whether it's U-15s, U-17s or U-20s, there is always expectation that Brazil will be a good team because of our tradition and because our senior team have won five World Cups. But this is not a problem because our players play for big clubs and are used to this pressure. All the players gave a good level of performance and we expect big things from them in the future.
Ronald Gonzalez, Costa Rica coach
This has been a very, very tough experience for us. To concede so many goals is very hard to take. I thought we were playing well until for 22 minutes but after that point we went downhill tactially, physically and mentally. There were many reasons for this but we became completely disorganised after Brazil took the lead. We gave a bad image of ourselves today and are better than we showed. We knew that Brazil were a strong team but we never expected it to be like this.
