Mahdi Redha, UAE coach
I'd first like to the people of Alexandria who have given us tremendous support in both our matches so far. I'd also like to congratulate my players who put in a heroic performance, especially during the closing stages which were particularly intense. We felt under a lot of pressure at the beginning and were once again quite jittery, but we're making progress.
Emilio Umanzor, Honduras coach
Our first half performance was what lost us the match. We were more interested in the referee than in our own game, and by losing our concentration we got into trouble and went in a goal down at half time. I think we improved in the second half, but by then it was too late.
