I’d like to thank the people of Cartagena. This is the second time we’ll be saying goodbye to wonderful supporters. Early tomorrow we’ll be heading to Medellin to prepare for the Round of 16. Today we had a very difficult game and we had a bit of luck with our second and third goals. When our players put to mind to playing well, they really can. Yes we performed well, but we also passed up too many scoring opportunities. That said, I think the fans enjoyed the game. I’ve haven’t begun to think about Argentina yet. Tomorrow I’ll get up early and after that begin to focus on the Argentina game.

Andreas Heraf, Austria coach
I’m very disappointed that we’re heading home. In our last two games there was nothing we could do, and we haven't we managed to score [at the tournament]. It’s true we had many chances but we couldn’t capitalise on them. The quality of our team was not good enough to survive here. Not even with every player at our disposal could we have done something against Brazil.
