Costa Rica would have played the same opponent with a different uniform (let’s say Guatemala’s uniform)and I bet you that we would have played much better, it is so frustrating when you know what some players can do but they don’t do it for lack of self-confidence.

Some Costa Rican players entered the pitch defeated, they were so scared of Spain that they decided to give the game away. If Spain is the favorite to win it all they have to improve a lot, I don’t see them wining none of the South American big 3 playing at this level, however I loved from Spain that their kids tried to emulate pros with the same type of attractive and loyal game, but in my opinion they looked slow and sometimes uncoordinated, was it the altitude of Bogota? Was it the anxiousness of game 1? Let’s see.
