France is indeed a good team. I hope they can manage to upset Portugal. But after that, they're playing Brazil or Mexico, who are both my teams.

the ecuadorian players were too selfish when they were in the box. de jesus, montano, and caicedo each wanted to do everything on his own-- each wanted to be a superstar on his own. they were shooting the ball from 1,000 miles away or trying to dribble around 1,000 players. that's not the way to play soccer, and that's not the way to play life. but these kids are only kids, so i blame the adults for the loss. the coaches have to properly prepare their players and intelligently manage the game.
