El Sayed Diaa, Egypt coach
If you see how the fans were behind us today then you see that my players played successful football here. I always tell my players, that they should enjoy the games. The fans have to be satisfied. In football, you win sometimes and you lose sometimes. But you have to show good football. I think that our games and our good performances will stay in the memories of the people here in Colombia.
Walter Perazzo Argentina coach
It was an attractive game today for the spectators, but I would have liked it a bit calmer. We knew that Egypt would be a strong team, before the game, they were praised even more than us. Egypt didn’t have a chance in the first half and after the score was 2-0, they played all or nothing. We have to say, that Argentina did not play in front of a home crowd today here in Medellin.
