Choi In-Cheul, Korea Republic coach
We fully deserved to be in the match for third place. In the last few years women's football has developed leaps and bounds. You could see that the level was very high at this tournament. I'm very proud that we managed to win the bronze medal, but all the competing teams and managers want to reach the final, that's the ultimate goal. Today was an important day for women's football in South Korea. This was only the second U-20 Women's World Cup we've taken part in, so coming third means an awful lot to us. I'm very proud of my team. The fact that two of our players have been shortlisted for the Player of the Tournament award proves that we South Koreans know how to play football.

Ricardo Rozo, Colombia coach
We have a very good team. It was our goal to reach the final, that would have been great, but unfortunately we lost our last two games. We've introduced the world to Colombian women's football at this tournament. No one knew about us before, but now we've earned a lot of respect and for that I'd like to thank everyone involved. Korea Republic deserved to finish third, they pass the ball well and physically they're very strong.
