Jarl Torske, Norway coach
I'm very pleased with the result. It's very good to start by picking up these three points before we meet two much more difficult opponents in the shape of Brazil and Korea DPR. The team are incredibly excited. There's a long way to go to reach the quarter-finals but we're hopeful because we have our fate in our own hands.
Andrea Rodebaugh, Mexico coach
I was pleased with our play because you have to take into account that many of the girls were making their first appearances at a World Cup. Only three of them had previous experience and I think the team acquitted themselves well. I think that our problem was that we didn't make the most of our chances, and we created about nine in the first half. We're going to go all out in our next match because we're aiming to stay in this competition.
Charlyn Corral, Mexico forward
We played a very good first half at a good pace and created goalscoring opportunities, though we didn't find the net. In the second half we weren't quite able to match their tempo, their physical strength. We're aware that this is our first experience and that we mustn't let our heads drop because there are still two games left.
