Germany pipped Ghana to the first place in Group F with a comprehensive 5-0 victory over Trinidad and Tobago at Changwon Main Stadium on Sunday 26 August.

The Round of 16 may now be no more than a distant dot on the horizon, but Trinidad and Tobago still have high hopes ahead of their final group match against Germany.

Against a Trinidad and Tobago team which is virtually eliminated already, Germany only need a draw to progress to the knock-out stage.

The door to the last 16 is open wide for Colombia, who eased to victory over Trinidad and Tobago and virtually eliminated their near-neighbours from Central America in the process.
