Inspired by another commanding performance from Bojan, Spain eased to a 3-0 win over Korea DPR at the Ulsan Complex Stadium on Wednesday to check into the quarter-finals of the competition.

As expected, the Iberians dominated the early phases of the match with the Koreans stringing two lines of four across the field and content to play a waiting game. Although keeper De Gea had to be alert to prevent an early own goal, the Spaniards were largely in control, and it came as no surprise when Bojan opened the scoring with a fine strike on the turn after 28 minutes.

Forced to come out and attack, An Ye Gun's at least managed to fire off a couple of long range salvoes. That man Bojan was at it again just after the restart, however, curling home a pinpoint drive from the corner of the penalty area. Substitute Iago underlined Spanish supremacy on 67 minutes, tapping in a third after a flowing team move.

The gutsy Koreans went close in injury time and were applauded heartily for their efforts as they left the field. For Spain, meanwhile, a quarter-final showdown with France in Jeju awaits on Saturday.
