Nigeria retained their 100 per cent record in Group D with a 4-1 victory over Haiti in Jeju on Saturday 25 August.

A brace from Macauley Chrisantus and Sheriff Isa helped the Eaglets to a fine victory over the plucky Haitians, who can return home with their heads held high after another hardworking performance.

Nigeria's extra touch of class told after three minutes when Kabiru Akinsola broke down the right, before putting in a low cross for Chrisantus who made no mistake from close range.

Then two quick-fire strikes shortly before the interval from Sheriff Isa extended Nigeria's advantage even further, with Akinsola at the heart of both goals.

The No8, making his first start in the competition, claimed his fourth assist of the evening, setting up Chrisantus for his fifth goal of the tournament so far.

Yet Haiti never gave up and claimed a deserved consolation when Joseph Peterson pulled one back with a header which barely crossed the line.
