Yemi Tella (NGA), Nigeria coach
"It was very pleasing to win all of our three matches in a very difficult group, that's probably the most pleasing aspect of the performance. It was a match in which all of the team contributed. We have a high calibre of player in this team, all of our players are strong and there are no weak players - that's what people saw today. I'm very pleased with the way our strikers are scoring goals. I hope we continue to score and more goals throughout this tournament, so that we can eventually win it."

Jean Yves Labaze (HAI), Haiti coach
"Obviously, we are disappointed after the defeat tonight, but we can return home with our heads held high. It was a very difficult match against a very strong team. Obviously, you can see why they are one of the favourites to win this tournament and you saw why tonight. It was extremely difficult, especially when we went down to ten men. But we take home a lot of good memories: it's been wonderful to participate at a FIFA World Cup and we have gained a lot of experience from it which hopefully will stand us in good stead for the future."

Macauley Chrisantus (NGA), Nigeria forward
"I am really enjoying playing in this tournament. The coach says that we are the best young players in Nigeria and I think that we are the best. I am so happy to be in the squad. Now we're all looking forward to going back to Gwangyang for our Round of 16 game, but we're looking ahead and hopefully we can go on and win the competition. We have a great fighting spirit among us - that's signified when we go into our huddle. We are a good team and we have good players."

Peterson Joseph (HAI), Haiti midfielder
"I have to give credit to Nigeria, who played extremely well tonight. I think they have the potential to win this World Cup. It's great to have been part of this tournament. It's obviously our first experience in this kind of event, so that's it was great to come up against Nigeria, France and Japan. Now we just have to work hard to try and reach the U-20 World Cup in Egypt in two years time."
