Solomon Luvhengo, South Africa coach
It was not an easy day for us. If we play badly and we lose a match, I can live with it. We played very well tonight though. We’re not here to win just one match, so we have to put it behind us. We will keep fighting and take a look at the problems we had tonight and hopefully we can learn from them. Now my girls know what a World Cup match is like and we can look ahead to improving and winning our next games.
Choi Duk-Joo, Korea Republic coach
The South Africans were strong and fast and they put us under a lot of pressure. Early on we didn’t play very well, but we adjusted and in the end we were strong enough to win the game. We will put in the work we need to and hopefully we can win our next two games and go a long way in this competition. Germany will be a tough opponent, but I think we will be able to match them well.
