All FIFA Confederations Cup France 2003 doping control tests prove negative
FIFA Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jiri Dvorak today announced that the final analysis of doping tests conducted during the FIFA Confederations Cup France 2003 have all yielded negative results.
Following every match, two players from each team were submitted to doping control procedures. No prohibited substances were detected in any of the 64 urine samples. In addition, the samples were tested for Erythropoietin (EPO), which also yielded 100% negative result.
Final analyses of the tests were conducted by the laboratory of Châtenay-Malabry (France).
