They reallyenjoyed themselves, and the whole team performedfantastically. Yawaguchi keeps getting better in goal, and Suzuki came in to score two crucial goals. He isnew to the team but I felt he was ready. I couldhardly sleep last night, fretting about which team topick, and I only made up my mind shortly beforekick-off. But they were all great, and we haveachieved our target of reaching the semi-finals. I'm so proud," he said.

I have known Philippefor many years, and I would like to congratulate himon what he has done with this team. That havecollective strength, good organisation, and they arecapable of playing some wonderful one-touch football. Our problem was that we didn't take the chances thatcame our way, but we were up against a top-qualitykeeper. We are disappointed but we will be focused forthe game against Canada - the players are always proudto wear the Cameroon shirt."
